FROM COMPLIANCE TO IMPACT               

Goals  –  Engage participants in:

  • Further developing a statewide network of leadership teams in low- and moderate-income NH communities, from banking, education, philanthropy, and workforce development, to identify and address obstacles to systemic inclusion in NH.
  • Sharing promising and proven practices for Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) investment for a more inclusive economy in low- and moderate-income (LMI) communities.
  • Developing action plans to
    • Improve access for unbanked youths and families to banking services, from free checking accounts to financial literacy education and credit repair counseling
    • Spur CRA-backed investment for affordable broadband in underserved areas.
    • Strengthen inclusive pathways to careers in banking, construction, manufacturing, STEM, teaching, environmental sustainability, tech and other high demand fields.
    • Replicate in other NH communities pioneering efforts recently launched in Manchester to spur joint CRA, foundation and educational system investments for systemic inclusion.

The Diversity Workforce Coalition comprises employers and other community members whose dual purpose is to promote diversity in the workplace through education, training, and enhanced networking opportunities, and to identify and connect resources to its members and the public.
